Lady Loggers drop pair of games to Eureka, Browning

The Libby Loggers girls basketball team dropped two road games last week.

Saturday at Browning, the Indians outscored the Loggers 16-0 in the first quarter, leading to a 61-5 victory in Northwest A girls basketball on Saturday evening.

Hadleigh Wood and Jayva Boehmler scored two points each to lead Libby.

Kendee Ollinger-Calf Boss Ribs paced Browning with 13 points, while Josephine Michael and Dally Michael chipped in eight points apiece. 

Jan. 20 at Eureka, the Lady Lions jumped out to a 32-13 halftime lead and won, 49-38.

Eureka had 18 steals to Libby's three and outrebounded the visitors, 39-26.

Wood and Rylee Delmas each scored 14 points for Libby. 

Aubrey Casazza led Eureka with 19 points.

The Lady Loggers played at Bigfork Thursday and are scheduled to head to Ronan Saturday.
