Helena girls too much for Glacier

HELENA — Lauryn Lieberg scored 15 points and Cassidy Smith added 14, all in the second half as Helena defeated Glacier 52-25 in Western AA girls basketball Saturday.

Lieberg found the basket five times in the first half as the Bengals (5-7 overall, 3-4 in Western AA games) jumped out to a 22-10 halftime lead. 

Cassidy Daniels led Glacier (1-11, 0-6 in league) with six points on a pair of triples, Miley Fritz and Olivia Warriner chipped in five each. 

Karley Allen was held without a field goal after scoring 15 points against Capital Friday. 

The Wolfpack girls stay on the road with a trip to Missoula Hellgate scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
