SUMMARY This Ordinance amends RCW 35.21.990 and 35A.21.440 require all cities and all code cities to incorporate into their development regulations, zoning regulations, and other official controls provisions to allow redevelopment of existing buildings into housing, in commercial, mixed use, and residential zones, without requiring certain standards which may have otherwise been required; and RCW 35.21.996 and 35A.21.460 require all cities and all code cities to allow child care centers as an outright permitted use in all zones except industrial, light industrial, and open space zones.
