Pizzini, 35, was the first local male across the finish line at the Ironman 70.3 Coeur d’Alene on June 21, finishing 31st out of 745 male competitors. Pizzini finished the 1-mile swim in 32 minutes, 9 seconds, the 56-mile bike portion in 3 hours, 2 minutes and 47 seconds and the 13.1-mile run in 1 hour, 34 minutes and 2 seconds to finish sixth out of 91 in his age group (35 to 39-years old). Pizzini was 41st in the 2025 Ironman 70.3 Coeur d’Alene.
