Summer concerts

The Columbia Falls Lions Club will host two summer concerts this year sponsored by Glacier Bank at Marantette Park.

The first concert is 6:30 p.m. July 23 during Heritage Days and features the Flathead Valley Community Band.  The second concert is 7 p.m. Aug. 6 and features the Don Lawrence Orchestra. Donations are appreciated.



Center garage sale

The Columbia Falls Community Center is having a  July 3-4 garage sale. All proceeds benefit the center. The sale is from 9 a.m. to 2 pm. each day at the center on Nucleus Avenue.



Movie at the Park

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce will host a free movie at 8:30 p.m. July 11 at Marantette Park. The film is “How to Train Your Dragon.” Film starts at dark. Popcorn and other treats will be available.



Bookmobile

The Columbia Falls Bookmobile is at Horine Park, 10-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays; Pinewood Park, 1:30-2 p.m. Tuesdays and Canyon School (Hungry Horse), 10-10:30 a.m. Wednesdays through the summer so kids can get free books to read when school is out.
