Red Sox sweep pair of games over Twins

HAMILTON — Cash Lawrence and Connor Quinn combined on a no-hitter in game one as the Bitterroot Red Sox took both wins in a doubleheader with the Glacier Twins in Legion baseball Tuesday. 


The Red Sox (19-2) took a 15-0 win in game one, before delivering a 10-1 decision in game two. 


Lawrence struck out five batters in three innings of work and issued one free pass, while Quinn fanned a pair.  


Lawrence added two RBIs at the plate with two hits in the game. 


The Red Sox took control with a 12-run first inning. 


In game two, Boedy Tadvick went 2-for-3 win three RBIs as the Red Sox took the win.  


Landon Ekin tossed three innings on the mound for Bitterroot allowing no hits and fanning five. 


Tristan Libby, Trenton Derosa and TayViaun Robinson each picked up a hit for the Twins (4-14). 


Derek Juntenen and Mason Muller tossed three innings each. 


Glacier is back on the diamond Thursday as they head to the Stars and Strikes tournament in Bozeman.
