MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services posted sign-ups for the upcoming Adult Co-Ed softball season Monday morning. The cost to create a team is $625 with team registrations open until July 14. No late registrations or payments will be accepted.

All games will be held at the Paul Lauzier Athletic Complex with double headers being held each game night. Depending on the number of registered teams, the league may be organized into three divisions.

The season will begin July 21 and run through Aug. 27 with a total of 12 doubleheaders scheduled. Games will be held every Tuesday and Thursday with the first games starting at 7 p.m.

Umpires will be provided for all games and game times are subject to change.

At the end of the season, a tournament will be held to decide the champion of each division.

Registration for the league can be found on the City of Moses Lake website. The league is open to anyone over 16 and any player under 18 must have all required waivers signed by a parent or guardian.

Completed minor waiver forms must be submitted to the Parks and Recreation office no later than 24 hours prior to the player’s first game for them to be eligible to participate.

Teams will be placed into divisions based on last season’s performance and an honest review of current roster strength. Returning teams will generally remain in their previous division unless significant changes are noted.

New teams will self-rate during registration and be placed accordingly. Final placements are at the discretion of league staff to ensure balanced and fair play.
