The 47th annual Whitefish Arts Festival over the Fourth of July weekend is a cherished community event sponsored by Whitefish Christian Academy.

Located in Depot Park, on the corner of Central Avenue and Railway Street, the Whitefish Arts Festival runs July 3-5. Hours on Friday and Saturday are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free.

The Whitefish Arts Festival has a long history of drawing top artists and craftspeople from all over the country who work across the mediums from stellar canvas art pieces to top quality jewelry to unique sculpture and metal arts.

In 2026, there are 153 artists and creators and at least 11 different food vendors lined up.  See whitefishartsfestival.org/about-waf/ for the full line up or more information.

Art lovers will also have an opportunity on Thursday, July 2 to stroll downtown Whitefish’s art galleries during Whitefish Gallery Nights. Twelve art galleries are open during special hours, from 5 – 8 p.m., on the first Thursday of every month during the summer.

On July 2 Hollman Miller Gallery will host Heather Roth, who works primarily in Roman clay. Her process combines traditional wood finishing techniques with an intuitive approach to painting, building and removing layers of clay and pigment to create richly textured works.

Stumptown Art Studio will have a fundraiser night with Nancy Cawdrey’s artwork on display.

Other participating galleries and locations in Whitefish Gallery Nights include FoR Fine Art, Cawdrey Gallery, Dick Idol Signature Gallery, Glacier Sotheby’s, Going to the Sun Gallery, The Walking Man Frame Shop and Gallery, ABC Art Collective, Underscore Art and Jewelry, and Kemo Sabe.
