A motorist at a red light allegedly flashed their vehicle’s lights at a police car and pointed to the car behind them. The officer turned around to ask what the deal was and the passenger piped up, claiming the other car was driving recklessly, tailgating them and being “very aggressive.” The Kalispell Police officer then stopped the other vehicle, which was being driven by a “young, respectful teenager” who claimed that the other motorist cut her off and was flipping her off. She said she kept slowing down, trying to create some distance but the alleged aggressor kept slowing down to stay in front of her.
A showoff driving a lifted blue Dodge Ram entertained himself by revving the engine and doing burnouts at an intersection while yelling.
The caravan of clowns continued wreaking havoc around town. Officers received a later call regarding a green Toyota Prius with a damaged front bumper that was spotted swerving across lanes on U.S. 93. The car nearly ran into a ditch a few times before finally finding success. The driver reportedly managed to get out of the ditch before pulling over and turning the hazard lights on.
A drunk man reportedly wouldn’t get out of an Uber driver’s car until they took his money for the ride. He reportedly didn’t understand that the driver no longer had the patience to deal with him and didn’t want money for the ride, just for him to get out. He eventually exited and called a friend.
Uninvited guests in a blue truck with a white camper and a gray Suburban camped out in a church parking lot allegedly lingered too long for a pastor. The pastor told the police that the truck had been in the area for a couple of weeks and asked that the occupants be sent on their way with thoughts and prayers. The occupants reportedly told officers they would hit the road.
Officers responded to a resident’s report of a man allegedly standing close to a woman’s face, screaming and threatening to harm her. Officers reportedly described the man as extremely animated and yelling when they arrived at the scene. The pair were in Kalispell to look at property.
Two men, one of whom had a limp, reportedly ran out of a store and an employee suspected them of shoplifting. She thought maybe a couple of pairs of boots and pants were stolen but couldn’t access security footage without a manager present.
