Shoshone News-Press | UPDATED 16 hours, 23 minutes AGO
In loving memory of Carol Lee Watts, who peacefully left this world in her home at the age of 92, surrounded by her family, June 25, 2026. Carol was born March 28, 1934, in Spokane, Wash. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilber and Clarice Smith; second husband and soulmate Thomas Dean Watts; eldest son Joseph R. Kenser; grandson Nicholas Card; brother Bobbie Buroker; brother-in-law Rich Nearing; and first husband Warner Joseph Kenser.
Carol was a longtime resident of Kellogg. She met Dean Watts, the love of her life, in 1982; they had a large blended family. She enjoyed gardening, camping, dancing and cooking, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her family deeply and loved the holidays. She was a caregiver by nature and was also known for her feisty personality. She was the most loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, but she certainly did not hold back when telling the truth, which is a fond shared memory for us all. She always took on everyone's burdens and would do anything in her power to help. She was the Matriarch of her family. We find peace knowing she is once again dancing with the love of her life, Dean.
Carol is survived and incredibly missed by her sister's, Darlene (David) McCullough and Sandra Nearing, children, Debbie (Kip) Bircher, Kevin (Jeanette) Kenser, Sherry (Gordon) Card, Philip Watts, Kevin (Cindy) Watts, Diane (Jim) Brewer, grandchildren, Jami (Andy), Jessica (Jeremy), Katie (Arod), Jason (Rosie), Travis (Jozie), Karlee (Chris), Kyle, Jake, Ginger (Jason), Kelli (James), Hailey (Zach), Chris (Jean), Katey (Chris) and Colin (Lauren), great grandchildren, Justyce, Jaden (Taylor), Gage, Tyler, Lillian, Maddux, Danika, Kendal, Azaiah, Nikola, Oliver, Evelyn, Hudson, Nicholas, Wyatt, Miyah, Italia, Dalton, Tucker, Chevy, Renn, Will and Thomas, great great granddaughter, Nyla and numerous nieces and nephews.
