BOZEMAN — Cooper Waters drove in two runs on a fifth-inning single to help Gillette Prep to a 2-1 victory over the Glacier Twins Thursday at the Stars and Strikes Legion baseball tournament.

Waters single came after a walk and an error put runners on second and third. He knocked in both to put Gillette ahead.

Glacier found the lead in the second after Jacob Recer drove in Kieran RK after the latter doubled to open the frame.

Mason Muller tossed 4 2-3 innings, allowing two hits and one run. He fanned three. Derek Juntenen threw 1 1-3 innings, giving up one hit and striking out one. The Twins issued two walks in the game.

Gillette got a complete game from Chet Holzer, who scattered five hits for one run while sitting down six.

The Twins continue at the tournament Friday against the Belgrade Bandits B squad.
