It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Collinson. Shirley was truly beautiful inside and out. She had a heart that loved everyone, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her loved her in return. Whether someone knew her for years or only a short time, she had a remarkable way of leaving a lasting impression.

Her kindness was genuine, her heart was full of love and her beautiful smile could light up any room. Shirley found joy in life's simple beauties.

She loved painting peaceful scenery and the birds she admired, spending time creating art with her friends at the Senior Center and designing miniature wildlife scenes throughout her home that reflected her incredible creativity. Lunching with the ladies from her church. More than anything, she cherished her family. Family gatherings were her favorite, and she loved cooking meals that brought everyone together around the table.

She is survived by her four children, David, Diana and spouse Rick, Dale, and Duane and spouse Pennie; her sister, Doris, and brother-in-law Ernie; her grandchildren, Dereck, Simone, Robert, Ryan, Josh and Troy; and her great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Liam, Trinity, Delany and Austin.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl; her niece, Pat; her sister, Violet; her brother, Don; her parents; her daughter-in-law, Michaelina Collinson; and many dear friends she loved throughout her life.

A celebration of life will be held July 9, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 3983 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden, Idaho.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew her.
