The sale is a public sale and any person, including the Beneficiary, excepting only the Trustee, may bid at the sale. The scheduled Trustee’s Sale may be postponed by public proclamation up to 15 days for any reason. In the event of a bankruptcy filing, the sale may be postponed by the Trustee for up to 120 days by public proclamation at least every 30 days. The 2026 IRP evaluates different potential generation resources that could meet the needs of NorthWestern’s electric service customers in Montana over the next 20 years. According to the 2026 IRP, NorthWestern has enough capacity to meet reliability requirements today, but it identifies a near-term capacity need emerging in winter 2027, driven by expiring contracts and growing customer demand. The 2026 IRP does not identify specific new resources for addition to NorthWestern’s resource portfolio. A copy of the 2026 IRP is publicly available on the Commission’s online REDDI portal under Docket 2026.04.026. 2.
