Law roundup: Man and woman caught in a smelly situation

A man sprayed a woman in the face with air freshener in an undoubtedly ill-fated attempt to clear the air with her. The woman declined medical care and instead headed to the Kalispell Police Department to report the incident. At least one person was banned from the property after the kerfuffle.  

Officers investigated the theft of gasoline from a business.  

Someone called the police to report being scammed out of more than $10,000. 

With summer camp about to start, a city employee asked officers to clear a gazebo of a homeless man and his dog before the children arrived in the park. The man got moving.  

Worried that an irate neighbor had stolen the keys to his truck, a man asked the authorities to intervene. He said she grew angry when he parked in front of her property and went through his vehicle. He also accused her of banging on the windows of his home.  

Officers reminded several people in different vehicles that living out of their cars is against the law in Kalispell.  

A passerby thought they saw a man in a blue Chevrolet Impala smoking marijuana inside the vehicle, which also contained a child.
