Soccer delight
I have heard speeches by Democrat communists who have won primary races in New York and Colorado demanding open borders, the abolition of ICE and defunding police as they continue their hate America diatribe. They claim we are a deeply flawed country that needs to be trashed and started anew with free everything under government control at the expense of the money of anyone successful in life.
Rather than withdraw in depression, I take comfort in watching the USA soccer team play before thousands of fans chanting USA repeatedly to spur our team on. I also took pride as the camera rolled past the players proudly singing our national anthem along with the fans to start the game. No taking a knee for them.
They performed miraculously beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 while playing the last 36 minutes down one player due to a questionable red card foul and even scored a second goal while totally disadvantaged being a man short.
The crowd was on their feet all that time shouting USA repeatedly. The team survived the knockout round of 32 to continue to the round of 16 showing guts and heart.
I have also delighted in interviews and filming of soccer fans from all over the world marveling at our country. Nothing but positive comments about what America offers and the friendliness of the people.
So, as the Democrat socialists continue to tear our country down, I take solace in the hundreds of thousands of soccer fans celebrating our soccer team and our country along with visitors from around the world. And to the socialists (i.e. communists) I say, “USA, USA, USA.” You can leave anytime. I will continue to enjoy life in the greatest country on earth.
