Pecor, a graduate of Timberlake High, delivered the go-ahead hit in the top of the seventh inning, then saved the game in the bottom half as Northern Lakes defeated Moscow 3-2 in the first game of a class A North Idaho League doubleheader last Friday at Moscow School District Community Playfields. Needing a sweep, Northern Lakes won the second game 13-2 to win the league title. "I've got a massive amount of trust in Ethan," said Northern Lakes coach Bryce Johnson, who also coached Pecor at Timberlake. "We've been through the wars together, and he's earned that trust. He always seems to find himself in the biggest moments, and has a knack of coming through almost every time."
