Road striping on tap

The Montana Department of Transportation and Streamline Markings, Inc. will restripe sections of roadway in the Kalispell, Whitefish, Somers, Columbia Falls, and Polson areas beginning on Wednesday, July 8. The project is expected to last through the end of August, weather and unforeseen factors permitting.

All work will take place at night between 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews will work Sunday night through Friday morning in the following locations:

Kalispell

U.S. Highway 93 (US 93) from the Courthouse to north of Grandview Drive

Hutton Ranch Road between U.S. 93 and West Reserve Drive

Old Reserve Drive from U.S. 93 to the Reserve Place

U.S. Alternative Highway 93 (US Alt 93) from U.S. 93 to the bridge over Ashley Creek

U.S. Highway 2 (US 2) from 7th Avenue East to the railroad crossing north of West Reserve

 Whitefish

U.S. 93 from Montana Highway 40 (MT 40) to Mountainside Drive

Somers

Montana Highway 82 (MT 82) from U.S. 93 to east of Fennon Way

Columbia Falls

Nucleus Avenue from U.S. 2 to Railroad Street
