Approximately 50 young athletes in grades five through eight participated in the BFHS Volleyball Camp held June 23-25, spending three days developing their volleyball skills through drills, instruction and game play.

Campers attended daily sessions focused on ball handling, court awareness and volleyball fundamentals. Organizers said the format allowed participants to gain valuable experience through repeated practice, resulting in noticeable improvement throughout the camp.

More than 20 volunteers, including coaches and high school students, helped lead drills and mentor campers during the event.

Organizers credited the volunteers for creating an environment that was both educational and enjoyable while encouraging players to continue developing their skills outside of camp.

“The more touches you have on the ball, the more prepared you are going into your next season or camp,” organizers said.

Organizers thanked the coaches, student volunteers and families who helped make the event a success and said they look forward to welcoming campers back next year.
