GOLF: West advances to Round of 32 in Pacific Northwest Men's Amateur

Luke West, a rising senior at Lewis-Clark State and former Coeur d'Alene High star, defeated Bradley Mulder of Spokane in 21 holes to win their Round of 64 match in the 124th Pacific Northwest Men’s Amateur golf tournament on Wednesday at Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman. 

West advances to face Sam Renner of Bend, Ore., today at 8:28 a.m. in the Round of 32.

Trey Lambert, a rising senior at Lake City High and Boise State commit, fell to Cameron Cantillana of Spokane 6&5 in their match. 

Max Hosfeld, who played his sophomore year at Whitworth last fall, fell to Quinn Hefele of Portland in 19 holes in their match. 

The tournament is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
