House of Brunch opens Coeur d’Alene location

Spokane’s House of Brunch opened its second location today at 309 E. Lakeside Ave. in downtown Coeur d'Alene. 

For owners Brad Duffy and Jackson Connery, it is the realization of the original vision that inspired House of Brunch long before the first mimosa was ever poured in Spokane. 

“People assume Spokane was always the plan. The truth is — we built the entire concept around Coeur d'Alene,” Jackson said. “We wanted to be here from the beginning, but there simply weren't any spaces available. Spokane was the first opportunity to open, and we're incredibly grateful for that. Coming to Coeur d'Alene feels like we're finally completing the original vision.” 

Since opening its flagship location, House of Brunch has earned a loyal following for creating a unique brunch experience. 

“We wanted an elevated brunch without any pretentiousness,” Jackson said. “When I think about brunch, I think about oysters, caviar, champagne, incredible cocktails and beautiful food. We wanted to bring that experience here but make it approachable.” 

Guests can expect the same menu that has made the Spokane location a destination, along with a handful of location-specific additions that give the Coeur d'Alene restaurant its own personality. The restaurant will also offer beer, wine, bottomless mimosas and a full menu of classic brunch cocktails. 

House of Brunch will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., closing only on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. 

“Our focus has always been hospitality,” Jackson said. “Within the first five minutes, we want guests to feel relaxed, excited, taken care of and like they've walked into an extension of their home. Every time we walk through our dining room, people are smiling and laughing. That's what House of Brunch is about.”
