Public Safety Forum with the City of Polson — 8:30 a.m. July 9 at City Hall; join Police Chief George Simpson for an open community conversation on topics such as public safety updates and outlooks on the busy summer season. 

“The Woman in Black” — 7:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, June 26-July 12 at the Theatre on the Lake in Polson; the Port Polson Players continue their 51st summer theatre season with this riveting ghost story, starring Neal Lewing as the haunted attorney Arthur Kipps and Mike Gillpatrick as The Actor. 7th Annual Paddle Palooza and ARE Spirit Challenge — July 9-12 at the Polson Fairgrounds; this event features paddlers from across the Pacific Northwest, Canada, Hawaii and more. It is a free opportunity to watch races, paddle an outrigger canoe and enjoy live music and culture. 

Good Old Days — July 10-12 at Good Old Days Park; this annual community celebration includes the Good Old Days BBQ, bounce houses, a dessert baking contest and a farmers market on Friday. The event kicks off again at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast, buffalo run and a parade at noon. There will also be a truck show, dog races, a dunk tank and duck races. 

Drug Awareness In Our Community Awareness presentation — 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on July 14 at the North Lake County Public Library; drug awareness and community update provided by Polson Police Chief George Simpson and Flathead Tribal Chief of Police Craige Couture. 

Social Summer Bash — 10 a.m. July 15 at Boettler Park in Polson; join the event to gather with other families for a day of food, fun and festivities. 

St. Ignatius Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser for Gene Posivio — 5 p.m. July 18 at the Good Old Days Park; come out for burgers and hot dogs to support the Posivio family. The event includes raffle prizes and a silent auction. 

Farmers Markets — Polson: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Fridays through the second Friday in October on Third Ave.; the market has over 50 vendors selling locally grown, crafted and baked goods. Ronan: 4-7 p.m. Thursdays next to the Visitors Center. Mission Falls Market in St. Ignatius: 4:30-7 p.m. Fridays at Good Old Days Pavilion. 

Arts & Crafts in Polson — 1-4 p.m. Wednesdays at Summit Independent Living, 3 Ninth Ave. West, Suite 1 in Polson; join CSKT elder Tammie Miller for an afternoon of crafting, companionship and snacks. Call 406-215-1604 for more information.
