Annoyed with a group of people that they suspected were taking advantage of a one-time offer, a tenant asked the Kalispell Police Department to intervene. The problem started when her landlord allowed neighbors access to her building's rooftop to watch a parade. But the parade was long over and they were still enjoying the roof, she said. After speaking with officers, she agreed to discuss it with her landlord.

Authorities investigated a hit-and-run captured on a security camera.

Seeing a woman trying to get inside a Toyota parked on the street, a passerby thought the police would want to know about it. The woman ultimately left in a Pontiac, they said.

A thief made off with a beach cruiser bicycle in the early morning hours, but the owner caught them on video.

Tired of looking at a large bus-like RV parked at the end of a dead-end street, a neighbor asked the police to intervene. Officers spoke with the vehicle owner's son, who said the family is in the process of moving out of state.

When a camper turned up in a parking lot, the property manager asked the police to track down the owners and move them along. The vehicle's owner told officers that they were trying to fix a carburetor problem and planned to hit the road as soon as it was remedied.

After nearly hitting a pair of children weaving in and out of traffic, a woman phoned the police. She said one was on a bicycle and the other on an electric scooter.

Officers gave a motorist a warning for a smashed windshield.

Someone thought they spotted two people "smoking drugs" and driving south on North Meridian Road. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
