Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is pleased to welcome Katelynn Bailey, DO, to its Emergency Department team.
Dr. Bailey recently relocated to Libby from Homer, Alaska, with her husband after deciding it was time to return to the mountains and the Montana lifestyle they love.
Board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Dr. Bailey brings a passion for rural emergency medicine and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients when they need it most.
"I love working in rural emergency medicine," said Dr. Bailey. "It's incredibly rewarding to help people feel better during some of their worst days. I'm excited to become part of the Libby community and provide care to the patients and families who call Northwest Montana home."
According to her LinkedIn page, Dr. Bailey was an Emergency Medicine physician at the Great Falls Clinic from November 2022 to April 2024. She practiced in Alaska at the South Peninsula Hospital since May 2024.
Outside of the Emergency Department, Dr. Bailey enjoys reading, hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and spending time with her family. She looks forward to taking advantage of the abundant outdoor recreation opportunities that drew her back to Montana.
"We are excited to welcome Dr. Bailey to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center," said Tadd Greenfield, Chief Executive Officer of Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. "Her commitment to rural emergency medicine, combined with her compassion and dedication to patient care, makes her an outstanding addition to our Emergency Department. Recruiting exceptional physicians who choose to build both their careers and their lives in our community strengthens our ability to provide outstanding care close to where our patients live."
Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is committed to providing exceptional healthcare to the residents and visitors of Northwest Montana.
The addition of Dr. Bailey further strengthens the hospital's Emergency Department and its mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
