Brenda Larsen, 85

Brenda Joyce Pauline Larsen, 85, was born February 16, 1941, in Lewistown, Maine and passed away peacefully at home on July 1 in Olney. 

Brenda was born to parents, Ernest A. and Alice Libby, and was one of eight children. She lived with the love of her life, Ted Larsen for 55 years. Brenda had seven children, Larry, Tim, Becky, Kris, Brenda, Kim and Rae.

She raised many generations of children and with that came many titles: Mom, Mama, Ma, Grandma, Grammy, Grams, Grandma Great, and Great-Great Grandma, but she was also a daughter, sister, wife and auntie.

For 85 years she was loved by so many, including her seven children, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and so many friends.

Brenda loved spending her days baking delicious goodies and going on daily walks with her best friend and partner in crime, Norma. Her love was heard and felt far and wide, and she will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at the Olney Fire Department on July 25 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
