Sunday’s Games 

12U  

Post Falls 11, Hayden 2: Brayden Drapeau hit his fourth home run in as many games in the tournament, leading Post Falls past Hayden at Croffoot Park in Hayden and into next Sunday’s championship game at noon at Airport Park in Lewiston. 

Post Falls totaled 13 hits in the win. 

Coeur d’Alene Black 15, St. Maries 0: Bryson Munger and Will Radobenko each homered for Coeur d’Alene Black in the loser-out game at Croffoot Park. 

Coeur d’Alene Black will play Hayden on Saturday at noon at Airport Park. The winner advances to the championship vs. Post Falls next Sunday, and must beat Post Falls twice. Post Falls needs just one win to advance to the best-of-3 state playoffs vs. the District 2 champion July 24-26 at Croffoot Park.

Post Falls 4, Hayden 2: Julian Connery struck out 11 in six innings for Post Falls in the loser-out game at Canfield Sports Complex in Coeur d’Alene. He allowed two hits, walked one and allowed one earned run. 

Post Falls advances to the championship game vs. Coeur d’Alene on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Airport Park in Lewiston. Post Falls must beat Coeur d’Alene twice. Coeur d’Alene needs just one win to advance to the best-of-3 state playoffs vs. the District 2 champion July 24-26 at Croffoot Park.

Hayden 5, Timberlake 3, 8 innings: Starting pitcher Jaxon Forbush went 6 innings for Hayden in the loser-out game at Canfield, allowing three runs, striking out five and walking one.  

Timberlake totaled 10 hits, led by Westin Bentley who went 3 for 3 with an RBI. Bryce Montambo went 6.2 innings allowing three runs, striking out six and walking one. 

Lewiston White 8, Coeur d’Alene Black 0: Lewiston White advances to the championship game next Sunday at 9 a.m. at Airport Park in Lewiston.  

Lewiston White will play either Coeur d’Alene Black or Hayden, who meet next Saturday at 9 a.m. at Airport Park.  

That winner would have to beat Lewiston White twice on Sunday. Lewiston White needs just one win to advance to the best-of-3 state playoffs vs. the District 2 champion July 24-26 at Croffoot Park.
