In Loving Memory of Brian Lee Potter

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Potter, who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 56.

Brian was a devoted father, proud grandfather, loving son, and a loyal friend.

He leaves behind his children, Maggie McClendon, Izzabella Potter and Cazhmere Potter; his son in-law Reece McClendon; mother Sherry Murdock; his sister Kyleen Potter; his friends Linda Roy, Ron Soete, Isaiah Van Dyck, and his beloved grandchildren, Sawyer and Wade McClendon, who brought him endless joy. His family was the center of his world and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Brian had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping and spending time chatting about guns. He was the happiest with a cold beer in hand, surrounded by the people he loved. Some of his favorite memories were made during family camping trips, hunting adventures, and special sleepovers with his grandchildren, who loved their papa.

Those who knew Brian will remember his incredible sense of humor, his kind heart and his willingness to do just about anything if it meant spending time with his family. He could always make people laugh and create lasting memories.

Brian’s love, laughter and unforgettable personality will live on through the many lives he touched. Although his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his family finds comfort in the countless memories they shared with him and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

Brian will be deeply missed and forever loved; his memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends every day.
