Community invited to discover region's hidden gardens
Bonner County Daily Bee | UPDATED 1 day, 13 hours AGO
Later this month, Pine Street Farm to Table is opening the gates to some of the region’s most inspirational private gardens for an unforgettable day of discovery, conversation, and creative approaches to gardening in North Idaho.
The second annual Progressive Garden Tour takes place Saturday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and invites guests to step inside four exceptional gardens throughout Sagle and Sandpoint, each with its own unique personality and design style.
Guests will travel together by coach, enjoying behind-the-scenes access to gardens not typically open to the public. At each stop, local hosts will share favorite tips, as well as practical techniques for growing in our region’s unique climate.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the morning, and the day concludes with a waterfront lunch featuring locally inspired flavors.
Whether you're an experienced gardener, a backyard hobbyist, or simply appreciate beautiful landscapes, the Progressive Garden Tour offers inspiration around every corner.
Why let the experience end there? Make it a month to remember by pairing the Progressive Garden Tour with this Saturday evening's Farm-to-Table Dinner. Hosted July 18 at the Pine Street Farm to Table homestead, this limited-seating dining experience features a Mediterranean-inspired menu by local chef Enas Blanchard, wine pairings with every course. Whether attending one event or both, guests will leave inspired by the people and places that make our region flourish.
Tickets are available at Eventbrite.com. Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
