Free meal

The free Canyon Community Dinner is from 5:30 to 6: 30 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at the Canyon Elementary School. Our delicious meal this month is a baked potato- pulled pork queso blanco, baked beans, salad and a special spring dessert. Constitution talks

Columbia Falls resident Russell Sias will lead talks on the Constitution starting July 21 at the Flathead County Library from 3 to 5 p.m. Each talk will be every other Tuesday thereafter. Questions? Contact Sias at: [email protected].

Cowboy singer at library

The Flathead County Library is excited to host a lively presentation by Montana cowboy, musician, and storyteller Philip Page at the Columbia Falls library on July 24, from 4-6 p.m. Page will share the early history of the West through song, images, and stories, and explore early settlers, gold strikes, and the people who shaped Montana’s legacy. This program is part of the Our Montana Voices Speaker Series, sponsored by Humanities Montana and the Montana 250 Commission. The series celebrates Montana and America’s heritage through storytelling and education.

 This event is free and open to the public. All ages are invited to join.
