Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking applicants to the Region 1 Citizen Advisory Collective in Northwest Montana.

The collective meets several times a year and serves in an advisory role, helping the state agency stay responsive and manage resources effectively within legal boundaries. Citizen advisors help spot new issues and potential conflicts, and they act as FWP ambassadors to various interest groups and geographic communities.

Fish, Wildlife and Parks employees benefit from having a deeper understanding of public priorities and expectations with help from citizen advisors, who act as a trusted sounding board for ideas and initiatives. People who volunteer in this capacity benefit from understanding Fish, Wildlife and Parks programs, priorities, decision-making processes and limitations in a broader context.

Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking applicants representing a variety of interests from communities across northwestern Montana within Region 1. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14.
