Ponderay seeking Neighbor Day sponsors, vendors

PONDERAY — The city is seeking vendors and sponsors for its tenth annual Neighbor Day celebration.

"This year's event will be a true celebration of our community and the event that has brought us together annually for a full decade," city officials said in a Facebook post announcing the event — and inviting participation in the celebration.

The event features live music, a beer garden, kids crafts, carnival-style games, inflatables, retail and food vendors creating a fun-filled event.

Sponsorship forms can be on the city's social media accounts or by emailing city officials at [email protected].

Sponsorship donations can be made by cash, check or credit card or through in kind products or services used at the event.

Vendor participation is just as easy by going online and completing the registration form and returning it to Ponderay City Hall. Vendors who participate will have the $50 vendor deposit returned at event check-in. 

"This event is a great way for businesses to support our community and raise awareness for your own business," city officials said. "You can connect with local consumers, driving them back to your store or service."

Booths are limited and will fill up fast.

Ponderay officials said they do their best to prevent multiple vendors selling the same items. As a result in the event of a duplicate vendor type spaces are granted in the order they're received.
