Shana Irene Williams left us on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Mineral Community Hospital due to complications from pneumonia.

Shana was born in Missoula on Jan. 19, 1961, to Doug and Neva Cummings, joining two sisters, Carma and Tonya. The family moved to Superior in 1964, and Shana lived there for the rest of her life.

In April of 1979, Shana married Dale Williams, and they had two children together, J.D. and Adam. Shana worked at the Big Sky Restaurant, Big Sky Motel, spent many years cooking at the Superior Senior Citizens Center, organized appointments for the Foot Clinic, and most recently spent the majority of her time volunteering at the Superior Food Bank. Throughout her life, all of the occupations and volunteering she did focused on helping others in the community.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Neva Cummings.

She is survived by her husband Dale, father Doug, sisters Carma (Ron) & Tonya (Pete), her children Melinda, J.D. & Adam, her grandsons Damian, Deklyn & Brenner, nieces Melissa, Wendie & Rebecca, and nephews Dustin, Kenneth, Jesse, Blake & Kaiden. She will be missed dearly by her family and others throughout the community.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Superior Grade School Gym. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Superior Food Bank.
