DESCRIPTION: The applicant is proposing a 260 MW photovoltaic (PV) solar facility and a 260 MW AC Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on approximately 3,800 total acres. The majority of the Project Area boundary is private land (approximately 3,222.8 acres) and the remaining area (approximately 577.9 acres) is federal land managed by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Of the approximately 3,222.8 acres of private land within the Project Area, approximately 2,555.7 acres are evaluated for project development and subject to County review and approval of this Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application.
