Heritage Days events come to Columbia Falls

Heritage Days, a Columbia Falls community celebration, is coming up next week.
This is the 70th year of the event, if one includes the original “Progress Days” and “Roundup Days.” This year’s theme is “Best of Times: Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday.”
New this year is a pie auction to support the Columbia Falls Historical Society on July 23. The big parade down Nucleus Avenue is noon on Saturday, July 25.
The following is a lineup of events:
Wednesday, July 22
• 17th Annual Car Show – Marantette Park 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Call Art Ott for more information 406-270-4166. Columbia Falls American Legion Freedom Post No. 72 will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs.
Thursday, July 23
• City Pool FREE Open Swimming – Pinewood Park Aquatic Center 1:30 – 4:15 and 6:30-8:15 p.m.
• Columbia Falls Community Market live music featuring Steve & Deb Duo 165 Veteran’s Drive 5-8 p.m.
