A woman was killed in a single vehicle rollover on Highway 2 near the House Of Mystery Wednesday morning.
According to Montana Highway Patrol spokeswoman Kylie Gibson, a Jeep was traveling eastbound about 9 a.m. when it drove off the right edge and entered a gravel pullout area.
The vehicle hit a mailbox before reentering the road, then crossed over and departed the left side of the road. The vehicle continued through the westbound ditch, where it hit two large trees and a stump. The vehicle overturned before coming to rest on its wheels. The driver was unrestrained, was ejected during the crash, and pronounced dead on scene.
No further information was immediately released.
There were no passengers.
