Concerned after an unofficial Fourth of July pyrotechnics display near the golf course sent concrete raining down on their property, a homeowner approached the Kalispell Police Department to see if anything could be done about it. Although they lived in the county, the property owner said the fireworks appeared to be angled to go off over the links, which are within city limits. As proof, they brought with them the chunks of concrete, which were about an inch and a half in diameter.

Annoyed at a purple sedan left on the street for more than a month, someone phoned the police. The vehicle's owner later agreed to move it.

When a contractor failed to complete a paving job, the client asked the authorities to intervene. They accused the contractor of bilking them out of $7,000. Officers directed the customer to civil court.

Phantom knocking on their door in the wee hours of the morning prompted a resident to ask for extra patrols in the neighborhood overnight. She said the suspects run up to her door, knock on the glass portion and then slip away into the darkness. She offered to send the investigators, who were unsure if the activity amounted to a crime, surveillance footage of the pranksters.

A man reported losing his wallet overnight. He suspected it fell out of his truck.

Leaving her therapist's office, a woman discovered vandals had keyed her car and rendered it inoperable. She suspected her ex-boyfriend or one of his friends as the culprit. Investigators worked on getting surveillance footage from the building.

Officers cited a motorist for careless driving after they got into a fender-bender.

The police stopped a motorist for driving without a license plate.

Concerned with a gray GMC festooned with a sticker advertising their allegiance to the beast from the Book of Revelation, a neighbor asked the police to investigate. They said the vehicle lacked license plates and had cardboard in the windows. The vehicle was gone by the time officers arrived.
