SANDPOINT — The University of Idaho men's basketball team will be bringing a co-ed youth camp to Bonner County on Thursday, July 23.

The Vandal coaching staff will be making their way to the Sandpoint High School gym for a two-hour clinic for all incoming second through eighth graders. Following the clinic, all the Vandal MBB players will be practicing in the gym. That event is open to the public and free to attend.

"We are excited to have a team that appeared in last season's NCAA tournament come to Sandpoint High to work with youth athletes interested in improving their skills," Sandpoint High School boys' basketball coach Will Love said. "Receiving skill development from the Vandal coaching staff and players is an amazing opportunity for basketball in Bonner County."

The camp will cost $40 to attend; those interested in attending can reach out to the University of Idaho's assistant coach, Luke Chavez, at [email protected].
