Idaho District 1 Little League baseball tournaments: Smoke alters schedules

Poor air quality postponed Friday's games in the 12U and 11U divisions in the Idaho District 1 Little League baseball tournaments at Croffoot Park in Hayden.

Here's the updated schedule: 

12U 

Hayden and Coeur d'Alene Black will play today at 11:30 a.m. at Croffoot Park in a loser-out game. 

The winner will play Post Falls on Sunday in the championship game, at a site and time to be determined. Post Falls, undefeated in the tournament, would have to be beaten twice. 

11U 

The championship game between Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls is scheduled for today at 11:30 a.m. at Croffoot Park in Hayden. Coeur d'Alene needs just one win to advance to the best-of-3 state playoffs. If Post Falls wins, a second title game would follow at 1:30 p.m. 

10U 

Coeur d'Alene Black and Hayden will play in a loser-out game today at 1:30 p.m. at Croffoot Park in Hayden. 

The winner will play Lewiston in the championship game on Sunday at 9 a.m. at Airport Park in Lewiston, needing to beat Lewiston twice to advance.
