Audrey Turner, 85
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 9 hours, 29 minutes AGO
Audrey Turner passed peacefully in her sleep at home on July 5, 2026, at the age of 85. Even though her memory was fading, she felt safe, loved and special.
She was the youngest daughter of Richard and Alice M. She married Jerry on May 24, 1958. She was a mother to five children. They lived in Oregon until Jerry's job transferred the whole family and her mother, Alice, to Montana. Audrey was 37 years old starting this new adventure. She worked at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in a few different departments and retired in 2003. She was an active member of Risen Christ Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, photography and making beaded bracelets.
She was a quiet and shy person but had a few dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alice; her husband Jerry; all her siblings Richard, Joyce, Harlen, Gloria; an infant daughter Joy and many beloved in-laws.
She is survived by her kids, Anthony (Tina), Arlene Brash (Clint), Janice Miller (Russ), Aaron and Jerritt (Michelle); seven grandchildren, James, Calvin, Hope, Beth, Baylanna, Jody and Austin; eight great-grandchildren, Maison, Colton, Josie, Brook, Amelia, Tucker, Lula and Etta and bonus grandkids and great-grandkids and beloved in-laws.
Her gentle personality and heartwarming smile will be missed by us all! She's busy now in heaven, holding her infant baby girl, Joy, and greeting all those who went to heaven before her. Soon, we will be there and she will be hugging us.
Please join us at Risen Christ Catholic Church on July 30 for a rosary at 10:15 a.m. before a double funeral Mass for Audrey and Jerry Turner at 11 a.m., with graveside burial at Glacier Memorial Garden Cemetery and back to Risen Christ for a luncheon and slideshow.
