Christian Center School celebrates groundbreaking for future gym

Christian Center School celebrated the groundbreaking of its future gymnasium in Hayden, marking the first major milestone of The Legacy Project. Students, families, alums donors, and community members gathered for the ceremony, which included prayer, family activities and a time capsule commemorating the occasion.
Head of School Annie Marshall reflected on the school's nearly 50-year legacy, crediting decades of prayer, generosity and faithfulness for making the project possible.
"This didn't happen because of the greatness of man," Marshall said in a press release. "It happened because of humbled hearts willing to follow where God was leading."
CCS leaders, Board Chair Dustin Secrest, Financial Officer Jason Tesky, ASB President Abby Marshall, Facilities Manager Jaret Paulson, and Hayden Mayor Alan Davis, participated in the ceremonial groundbreaking.
The new gymnasium will provide space for athletics, performing arts, school events and community gatherings while supporting the school's mission of Christ-centered education. CCS continues to raise the remaining $1.1 million needed to fund the project through The Legacy Project campaign.
