Elvira A. Orsborn

Elvira A. Orsborn, 88, a long-time resident of Libby, passed away July 8 in Kalispell. 

Born July 17, 1937, to the parents of William D. and Rachel O. Shriner, she was the last of five children, Robert, Bernice, Ruth and Ben, all of whom have preceded her in death. 

She married Carl Orsborn in 1955. While they later divorced, together they had three children, Carl, Jimmy and Laurie all of them have proceeded her in death. 

Elvira was not only that of strong will, but physically strong, with many years of waitressing at the Ten Pin Cafe and retiring from the 4B's restaurant.

Her father nicknamed her "Tiny." No bigger than a minute, she was "tiny" but Mighty!

She is survived by a grandson, Ruebon Holder, and granddaughter Cricket Orsborn. Another granddaughter, Erin Lopez, preceded her in death. 

Elvira was also a great-grandmother of 8. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Per Elvira's request there will be no service.

A celebration will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, at the Libby Cemetery to lay her to rest.
