Law roundup: Couple goes with the flow for too long

A couple reportedly stranded on a bank after missing their pullout one mile south of West Glacier called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office unsure about what to do. They decided to go up the river, around the bend and walk to Sloan Lane, where the caller's husband planned to trek back to their campsite and get a vehicle. 

A passerby calling from Kalispell was reportedly advised not to break a window on a Jeep containing a panting dog. 

A Hungry Horse resident's 911 call about a neighbor's dog that was attacking their chickens apparently didn’t go through.    

A Bigfork woman allegedly threw a fan at her boyfriend's head, "busting it open." He told deputies that he was holding a cloth on it to sop up the blood. 

A driver pulling out of a baseball stadium in Kalispell reportedly saw a man hitting a woman. 

A Kalispell woman was allegedly banging her fist on another woman's house until the landlord came by and she left. A group of eight to 12 people was out front when deputies arrived. 

A Columbia Falls man, who allegedly refused to provide his name to dispatchers, aired concerns about officers driving by with the emergency lights flashing but no siren.  

Someone complained about a neighbor reportedly burning garbage in a barrel in Kalispell. The caller said they couldn't open their windows because of the acrid smoke. 

Someone calling from Columbia Falls heard gunshots ricocheting by houses and said people in a Polaris Ranger were shooting toward the railroad tracks from Tamarack Lane. 

An Evergreen caller reportedly thought it was suspicious to see a man on a bridge pointing what looked like a replica firearm or shotgun. Deputies counseled the man about his actions. 

A security guard in Kalispell reportedly asked law enforcement to respond to a parking lot where they were having issues with a man who kept parking there despite previously being asked to leave.   

A woman allegedly tried to pry plywood off the old Flathead National Forest building in Hungry Horse. 

Someone's father reportedly stole $100 out of their wallet and left.
