Wilson, a third baseman and catcher, went 12 for 14 with a home run, 11 RBIs and eight runs scored, helping the Post Falls 12U Little League team go 5-0 to advance to the state best-of-3 championship series against the West Valley All-Stars starting Friday at Croffoot Park in Hayden. "Griffin has been the spark toward the top of our lineup all season, leading the team in hits while reaching base 80% of the time," Post Falls assistant coach Troy Roberg said. "He is a vocal leader with a level-headed approach. He's a players teammates rally around in big moments."
