Flathead Land Trust to host annual benefit at Historic Bigfork Ranch

Flathead Land Trust will host its premier annual fundraising benefit, The Land Affair, at The FARM Montana (Wrangler Springs Ranch) on Thursday, July 30. This signature evening event brings together community members, landowners and conservation supporters to sustain the scenic, agriculturally productive lands, wildlife corridors, outdoor recreational opportunities and clean water that define the Flathead Valley.  

Proceeds from the event directly fund Flathead Land Trust’s community-based conservation projects across Northwest Montana.  

The refurbished 1905 historic barn on a 500-acre working ranch, is both the centerpiece for the event and the home of Paladin Conservancy. Through this unique setting, the Conservancy strives to preserve the Old West by engaging youth and the community in authentic Montana farming and ranching activities, fostering an appreciation for traditional western life skills.  

Guests will enjoy live music by the dynamic Radio Ranch, blending the storytelling of Americana, the rebellion of outlaw Country, and the spirit of Rock 'n' Roll. Local caterer, Forage, will provide an outstanding, locally sourced Montana BBQ spread, complete with thoughtful vegetarian selections. The meal will be complemented by excellent local beer, wine, and nonalcoholic refreshments.  

This year's event also features a specially curated raffle, featuring a selection of high-value packages with regional specialties and premier outdoor experiences. Attendees can bid on unique Montana getaways, outdoor gear and regional goods.  

The festivities will culminate with a Live Drive paddle raise, where guests can increase their impact, thanks to a generous $5,000 matching challenge offered by an anonymous donor. All proceeds directly benefit local land and water conservation and recreation initiatives in Northwest Montana.  

Tickets are 85$ and doors open at 6 p.m. at The FARM, 6850 MT Highway 35, Bigfork.
