Let’s follow up that Bash with a Rampage.
Fresh off the Summer River Bash in Idaho, the North 14-U softball team will complete play at the Rampage in the Rockies in Missoula this week.
The North, a collection of high school softball players from Thompson Falls, Noxon, Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry went 2-2 and placed fifth out of the 14 teams entered in the Summer River Bash in Coeur d’Alene last weekend.
The highlight of the tournament for the North was an 8-0 win over the Spokane Rawlings Tigers.
Kaydence Pavlik pitched that game allowing only one hit over five innings while striking out four.
Spencer Wilson went three for three with a run scored to pace the North offense, Brielle MacArthur, Bella Danish, Nina Cardin and Jazzy Thompson all had a hit, a run and a run batted in each, Jorden Turner and Angela Koskela added a hit and a run apiece, Aubrey Bethke a hit and Aliyah Falck a run scored.

Lady Hawks feel the pain, enjoy gain in Mission

The Thompson Falls-Plains-St. Regis Blue Hawk girls opened season soccer plays with a couple great efforts on the pitch, playing well but falling 4-0 to Loyola Friday, and battling Polson to a 1-1 draw on their own field Saturday. Both matches were played in Polson.
