Cobie Verbrugge Schuchard, 81

Cobie Verbrugge Schuchard passed away peacefully June 9, 2026, after a short illness. She was born in Holland and lived to be 81 years of age.

Cobie lived in five different countries during her lifetime, including Indonesia, Australia, Canada and the United States. After working in Australia as an educator for over 25 years, she decided to move back to the United States to be closer to family. Everyone who knew her was amazed by her artistic and gardening talents. 

Cobie leaves behind her three siblings, Sonja, Ray and Debbie, and special friend Pat, along with many other family members, friends and loved ones. She will surely be missed. 

A private celebration of her life will be held in Oregon.
