Jazz guitarist to perform at North Valley Music School

John Stowell, an internationally touring jazz guitarist and educator based in Portland, Oregon, will perform alongside local guitarist, Ben Darce, at the North Valley Music School July 28.
Stowell's live performances and 23 albums showcase an eclectic, original style influenced as much by pianists and horn players as by fellow guitarists. He stands out for his distinctive approach to harmony, chords and improvisation.
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free but a suggested donation of $25 or $50 will be accepted and may be made online at northvalleymusicschool.org.
