Idaho has lost a gem. Cindy was born June 13, 1955, and passed away June 21, 2026.

On June 21, Cindy left this life and joined her Savior, Jesus Christ, to live her eternal life. She is now enjoying being healthy, happy, worry- and pain-free. Brightening heaven with that smile only she could give.

Cindy passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home. She had been battling Alzheimer's for over five years and was able to stay home from start to finish, never losing that precious smile.

There will be a celebration of life for Cindy on July 25 at 11 a.m. at North Country Chapel, 2281 W. Seltice Way, Post Falls, ID 83854. All friends and family are invited.

I would like to personally thank family and friends who were there for me from the beginning to end, giving me support, prayer, love and encouragement, and a special thanks to those who were able to give their time helping me care and staying with Cindy, giving me a much needed break, so I could get away, catch my breath and relax a little knowing Cindy was safe and in good hands.

The Gordon and Cindy Harnasch family wish to extend their utmost thanks and appreciation to the staff at Gentiva Hospice CDA for all their time caring for Cindy. The love, care, kindness and personal bonding they had with Cindy were second to none! We love them and have no way to thank them enough. As Cindy would say, we hope God blesses you too much!
