Kings Pass Road to close for infrastructure upgrades

MURRAY – Kings Pass Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, July 27, through Friday, Sept. 4, while Avista crews complete infrastructure upgrades near the roadway to increase capacity for customers in the area. 

The six-mile county road runs from Beaver Creek Road to Thompson Pass Road and ends in Murray, Idaho. 

Road closure signs will be in place. Customers and travelers should plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure.
