Law roundup: Dude, urine public right now

Maybe he was just answering the call of nature or maybe he was following the old saw "when you gotta go, you gotta go." Either way, the people around him were peed off by a man's decision to let it flow in a crowded area. Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff's Office warned him for public urination and escorted him off the premises.  

Elsewhere, a different man spotted an ambulance parked at a medical tent and decided that would be the spot to relieve himself. Medical officials asked law enforcement to clean up the mess. 

Three Australian shepherds were running free along U.S. 2 just beyond West Valley.  

A customer was startled when their mechanic grew angry and ordered her off the property in Marion. She called the authorities looking for an escort while she retrieved her vehicle. 

A woman in Kalispell accused her mother of assaulting her.  

Festivalgoers apparently engaged in fisticuffs in an area designated for rideshares.  

Driven by the wind, a grass fire sprung up south of Kalispell.  

Concerned about a drunk man harassing women near a public restroom, a caller asked for the authorities to intervene. Deputies were unable to locate the pest.  

A drunk pedestrian in Whitefish got himself lost.  

Annoyed at the behavior of a group of people on motorcycles, a motorist phoned the authorities. They said the easy riders were passing other vehicles dangerously, nearly leading to an accident, as they headed north on Montana 206.  

The authorities treated a man who wounded himself with a knife in what the man described as a "kind of accident." 

Hoping to get into a music festival, someone flashed the gate attendants a badge associated with the Blackfeet Nation. The attendants contacted the Glacier County Sheriff's Office, which was unaware of any reason for local law enforcement to be at a music festival in Flathead County. The individual was turned away from the gates.  

Deputies dug up a box containing a dead Chihuahua in a cemetery near Kalispell.
