June Alene Pound Belston, "June Bug," went home to her maker July 19, 2026, at the age of 94, at Immanuel Lutheran Retreat in Kalispell. Born in a small house in Kalispell Sept. 23, 1931, she was raised and went to school with six siblings.

June was a loving soul and married her soulmate and love of her life, William George Belston, June 11, 1949. They were married until Bill passed Feb. 14, 1985. She then married Will Elliot of Phoenix on Jan. 9, 1988, where they lived for several years and moved back to Montana. Will resides in Arizona with his daughter.

June loved her gardening, especially her showpiece dahlias; neighbors would always stop by and admire them. She loved walking and sitting outdoors; listening to her favorite music (Jim Reeves and Eddy Arnold); dancing; she was a wonderful quilter (winning first prize at the fair one year on a quilt she made); working on crossword puzzles, always trying to improve her mind; and reading. She loved her fishing trips to Alaska and camping with family and friends. She was a great mother raising her five children. June would always greet you with a smile and offer a cup of coffee or a treat. She never had a complaint and lived life to the fullest. She had many friends and family. She will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William George "Bill" Belston; eldest son, Randy Ray Belston; grandson, Chad Micheal Armstrong; parents, Janoka and Mazie Pound; brother, Gene Pound; sisters, Helen Pound Cadell, Doris Pound James, Jesse Jean Pound and Naomi Pound Goodwin and great-granddaughter, Natsha Belston.

She is survived by her four children, Debbie Kuka (Bill), Diane "Dee" Sample (David), Bill Belston (Diana) and John Belston (Dori); daughter-in-law, Betty; husband, Will Eliott; four stepchildren, Brian, Marshia, Paul and Carman; grandchildren, Randy Jr., Jason, Jaimie, Kristen, Kerrianne, Deawn, Tyler, Rueben and Brock; and 11 great-grandchildren:
